Some tips in general in the case of diabetes as diet vary from patient to patient depending on the stages of the disease and methods of treatment, but can have these tips which are:
1 - drink 4 glasses of water before each meal by 25 minutes.
2 - Add two small meals after breakfast and lunch so that the number of meals of five small meals instead of three major.
3 – a plate of salad for treatment of diabetics, which consists of (watercress, radishes, red and green cabbage, broccoli, pepper turkey, onion, garlic, olive oil) and advised not to add the tomatoes so as not to cause high blood pressure.
4 - drinks that works to regulate the rate of sugar in the blood (such as fenugreek, cinnamon, ginger, tea with cloves).
5 - Eat more fiber such as oats, apples.
6 - reduce the amount of red meat and replace it with oily fish which contain omega-3 such as salmon, sardines.
7 - walking for 30 minutes a day.
8 - not to eat any food after nine o'clock pm to avoid a defect in metabolism.
9 - drink a glass of red wine without sugar three times a week.
